The Springs Living to Open Innovative Senior Community in Happy Valley

Happy Valley, Ore., April 22, 2021 – Today, The Springs Living broke ground in Happy Valley, Ore. to begin building a new senior community, The Springs at Happy Valley. Designed to accommodate over 200 residents 62 years of age and older, nearly 100 jobs will be created in Happy Valley once it opens.
“When designing The Springs at Happy Valley, our team used all that we have learned over the last 25 years to create safe environments where opportunities for new friendships can flourish,” said Fee Stubblefield, founder and CEO of The Springs Living. “That includes all that we have learned through the pandemic over the past year, such as the use of technology to reduce the spread of viruses.”
At today’s ground breaking, Happy Valley Mayor Tom Ellis said, “We are pleased to welcome The Springs Living to Happy Valley. Communities like this are integral to helping our seniors enjoy a healthy, safe quality of life close to their beloved friends and families.”
Situated on a 6.95-acre site just 10 miles southeast of Portland, Ore., the 210-unit community will consist of a combination of residences representing a continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care options. The Springs at Happy Valley will feature many high-end amenities, including an indoor pool and a movie theater. Dining options will reflect the company’s Art of Delicious philosophy of using local and fresh ingredients. Inside the community, Fancho’s Public House will offer residents casual fare and a full bar.
The Springs at Happy Valley will offer several spacious floorplans to choose from. With a prime location at the corner of SE 172nd Avenue and Sunnyside Road, the community will be conveniently located next to a variety of new shops and restaurants.
