Fee Stubblefield Honored with 2025 McKnight’s Pinnacle Award

McMinnville, Oregon — December 30, 2024From a remarkable pool of nominations, McKnight’s Senior Living News has announced its third distinguished group of industry leaders chosen as the 2025 Pinnacle Award honorees, including Fee Stubblefield, founder and CEO of The Springs Living, who has been awarded the Thought Leader Award.

The McKnight’s Pinnacle Awards recognize sector veterans of 20 years or more who have set new standards, driven innovation and inspired colleagues across the senior care, skilled nursing, and home care fields.

Fee Stubblefield, founder and CEO of The Springs Living, owns, develops, and manages communities and services for older adults. Based in McMinnville, Oregon, The Springs Living owns and operates 20 communities in the Pacific Northwest, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. Stubblefield serves on the Board of Directors of the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care (NIC) as a member of the executive committee and inaugural vice chair of strategy. He has served as the chair of the Oregon Health Care Association (OHCA) and the Providence Milwaukie Foundation in Oregon. In 2024, Stubblefield published a book, “A Culture of Promise: The True Story of a Small Company’s Quest to Transform the Senior Living Industry,” which documents how the founding of The Springs Living in 1996 was inspired by a promise to his grandmother to support her in living life to its fullest in a community that felt like home. 

Nominations were judged by an external panel of industry experts. All winners will be honored at a cocktail celebration on March 20, 2025.
